Vasco Nuno Martins

From a very early age Vasco realized that he wanted to be a musician. Growing up in a house where Richard Rodgers' "Sound of Music", Leonard Bernstein's "West Side Story", Elvis Presley, The Platters (just to name a few) were constant playlists, learning to play an instrument was inevitable.

After many years of studying music, taking part in numerous bands, albums and gigs, his greatest passion became clear: to compose film scores.

Having scored for a variety of productions, from advertising to fiction, "The Desert Islands" is the third wildlife documentary that Vasco has worked on, composing all of its original soundtrack.
