EVA SÁNCHEZ GÒMEZ

 

Eva was born in Puigcerdà (Catalonia) in 1986.  After graduating in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona in 2009, she focused on Illustration and for the following four years studied at “Escola de la Dona” in Barcelona, where she had the opportunity to illustrate her first album, “Onades I Flors”. She also took part in several collective exhibitions in libraries and bookstores and participated in Mollerussa Book Fair exhibition. In the last four years Eva has illustrated several children's books, the last one being “El tren de Vilso” by Mònica Rodríguez, published by Edelvives.

 

Eva was one of the 10 finalists of the first Proa Espais Illustration Contest in 2011 and was selected to take part in the IV Ibero-american Catalogue in 2013. She has also participated in the three last editions (2011, 2012 and 2013) of “Hipermerc’Art”, a contemporary art exhibition and market, and in two editions (2011, 2012) of "L'illa d'Art", another collective exhibition of contemporary Art, both located in Barcelona.
